How do I use this map?

You can use this map in two ways ...

Step One (Option A)

Click on the name of the sports team from the menu on the right-hand side of the map. An information bubble containing information about the sports team will then appear over the marker.

Step One (Option B)

Or click on one of the markers on the map, the information bubble will then appear over the marker.

Step Two (Options A & B)

Click the + navigation symbol on the left hand size of the map to zoom in, and see the sports ground in more detail.

Step Three (Options A & B)

Select another sports ground by either clicking on the name of the sports team on the right hand side of the map or by clicking another marker on the map.

Snapshot of the Rugby Super League

There are 12 teams in the Betfred Super League; 10 are in Northern England, 1 in London and 1 (the Catalans Dragons) in Southern France. The Wigan Warriors are the most successful team with 23 titles, which is seven more than the 2nd most sucessful team St. Helens. The champion is decided with a playoff competition between the top 6 teams.

From the 2024 season the constitution of the Super League is changing quite dramatically. There will no longer be an automatic promotion/relegation with the Rugby Championship. Instead a grading system will take place and every season the top 12 teams (across both leagues) will form the next seasons Super League. Teams will be graded on attendances, stadium and performance as well as a number of other factors.
